AGFEST OPENING TIMES
The opening times for Agfest patrons are 8:00am to 5:00pm each day. Car parks open 6:30am.
WHAT ARE THE DATES FOR AGFEST 2009?
7th, 8th and 9th of May 2009. Agfest always starts on the first Thursday in May. If the Thursday falls into April, it becomes the following week.
HOW FAR FROM LAUNCESTON IS THE AGFEST SITE?
22 kilometres from Launceston along the Bass Highway towards Devonport.
WHERE IS AGFEST HELD?
At Quercus Rural Youth Park, on Oaks Road between Carrick and Bracknell, south-west of Launceston (between Launceston and Devonport), in Tasmania.
HOW TO GET TO THE AGFEST SITE (before 2.30pm on Thursday, Friday & Saturday)
FROM LAUNCESTON - head towards Devonport on the Bass Highway (1), 22 Kms from Launceston, turn into Oaks Road (C511) at the Liffy Falls Exit.
FROM DEVONPORT - head towards Launceston on the Bass Highway (1). Approximately 7 kms past the Hagley by-pass, turn right into Oaks Road (C511) at the Liffey Falls Exit.
FROM HOBART - Follow the Midlands Highway (1) to Perth, turn left onto (B52) and continue for 13 kms and turn left onto the Bass Highway (1). Travel approx 4 kms and turn left onto Oaks Road (C511) at the Liffey Falls Exit.
PLEASE NOTE: Oaks Road is 'closed' to incoming traffic at 2.30 pm on Thursday, Friday and Saturday of Agfest. See "How to Get to Agfest When Oaks Road is 'closed'"
HOW TO GET TO THE AGFEST SITE WHEN OAKS ROAD IS 'CLOSED' (after 2.30pm on Thursday, Friday and Saturday)
FROM LAUNCESTON - head towards Longford. Just past Longford, follow (C518) (C513) and (C511) through Bishopsbourne.
FROM DEVONPORT - head towards Launceston on the Bass Highway (1). Prior to Hagley turn onto (B54) travel through Hagley and Whitemore using (B54) (C507) and (C511).
FROM HOBART - Follow the Midlands Highway (1) to Longford. Just past Longford follow (C518) (C513) and (C511) through Bishopsbourne.
CAN WE TAKE OUR DOG TO AGFEST?
Unfortunately no live stock including dogs and pets will be permitted on site without the express permission of the Chairman - Disability Dogs excepted. Please do not bring your dog and leave it in the car as RSPCA will be patrolling the car park.

Ticket prices have not changed for Agfest 2009:
