Fonterra showcases local Tasmanian dairy for farmers and the public alike

Fonterra is a staple of Tasmanian dairy and is the backbone of many well-known brands on Tasmanian shelves

“We collect around 50% of Tasmania’s milk supply," says Fonterra Regional Manager Troy Franks. This equates to close to 115 farms state-wide.

Fonterra works with farmers all over Tasmania,  with the majority coming mainly from the northwest and northeast.

 “Coming to Agfest over the next three days allows us to connect with many of those farmers”, says Troy. 

 There are demonstrations, displays, and great food on offer. 

Agfest is an opportunity for the public to see how products they know from supermarket shelves, such as Beqa, Western Star and Perfect Italiano are made with dairy from Fonterra.
