Harnessing the sun’s power for home and work
Harnessing solar energy is a technology that is always changing and innovating. For Powercom Managing Director Rohan Windsor, communicating these innovations to new and returning customers is a big part of the Agfest experience.
An Agfest fixture at their prominent Main Street site, Powercom supply – and advise on – a range of solar solutions. This can be anything from rooftop panels for houses to full-scale commercial energy requirements.
“The industry is mature now. People know what solar is all about, but it’s also easier now than ever for people to convert their homes and businesses to solar”, says Rohan.
For farmers, and those with a combined home and business operation, it’s about matching the available technology with what they require. This includes refrigeration, pumping or domestic use.
Also, sites that are shaded, or don’t have much roof space, can be converted to solar.
“We’re here to find solutions to your energy needs and educate people about the benefits of solar power”, says Rohan.
