Woolworths is celebrating its 10th year as a Diamond Sponsor at Agfest, proudly showcasing a wide range of Tasmanian grown and made products.
From fresh berries and apples to gourmet popcorn, local shortbread, and goat cheese, the supermarket giant is using its stall at Site S49 to highlight its strong ties with local farmers and producers.
“Everything here is from Tasmania. Agfest gives us the perfect chance to show our support for local suppliers,” said Wesley Polden, Store manager, Woolworth.
The display also features Westerway’s juice, Wallaby dairy products, jams, and snacking carrots all clearly labelled and locally sourced. Woolworths tracks increased sales for local items after Agfest each year, proving the value of these connections.
Through programs like Seedlab, Woolworths continues to help small businesses grow and reach supermarket shelves, staying true to their commitment to buying local and supporting Tasmanian communities.
