Irrigation is a crucial part of Tasmania’s agriculture. A vital element in economic and industrial well-being. And as the state’s land use has diversified, so has the expertise provided by Blackley Pipelines.

Blackley Pipelines is based in northern Tasmania, but with state-wide capability, supply, maintain and advise customers on anything from platform installations to full-scale pivot irrigation systems and everything in between. They also provide a state-wide breakdown and maintenance service for irrigation systems, giving their customers that extra peace of mind.

“If a customer rings with an issue, we can send people all over the state to get their crops watered and help them out”, says Nigel Searle, Blackley Pipelines Business Manager.

The expansion of irrigation services has led to a diversification of clients.

“We do, general irrigation: pivots, hard hoses, pumps anything to do with water transfer. This includes vineyards and other sites that need specialist irrigation”, says Manager Nigel.
