From hands-on science to well-being tips, crop research, and art and architecture, the UTAS site is about making learning accessible and fun.

“We’re not just here to recruit students, we’re here to show the University is for everyone, whether you're in primary school or just want to keep your mind active,” says Belinda Brock, Manager, Community Engagement.

Visitors can explore the results of projects undertaken by UTAS’s expert researchers. They can also be inspired to discover new career paths, or just have fun with interactive and engaging activities.

There’s even a calm space where parents can rest while children explore and play.

Whether you're into mapping, psychology, plants, or design, UTAS is here to spark curiosity and show how education can fit into anyone’s life.

Find UTAS’s impressive and extensive pavilion site, visitors can learn all about at Shed IJ on North Street at Agfest2025.
